Our previous client had a second home in a Grade II listed building that they had been renting for many years without any interior updates. They now wanted to sell the property and for it to stand out against the competition to ensure they received offers as close to asking price as possible.

We had to be careful with this design to not over spend as this was all about making as much profit for our client as possible. So we simply upgraded the kitchen with a new sink, worktop and flooring. In the bathrooms we elevated the spaces by improving the lighting, changing simple fixtures like taps and mirrors. In the bedrooms we simply decorated and added some panelling to the walls to give a luxury feel and new carpet throughout the whole apartment.

As the living space had double height ceiling with beautiful original windows we wanted to make them the main focus of the design and so we painted the windows in an off black colour and the walls in an off white. We continued the dark colour on all skirtings and doors around the rest of the apartment which was completed with black switches and sockets. The new stair runner really lifted the hallway to maximise initial impact when entering this apartment. With the furniture we sourced all pieces for the entire apartment with a minimal expenditure so our client could sell the apartment ‘sold as seen’. We are happy to say the property went under offer 6 weeks after being on the market!
